Smoke alarms gave Wyoming family critical warning before house fire

A family in Wyoming escaped a house fire early Tuesday morning because working smoke alarms gave them time to get out, according to local fire officials.

The fire broke out just after midnight on Tuesday, June 23, in the 1000 block of Rathbone Street SW, according to an MLive report.
