A life cut short on a familiar stretch of Wilson Avenue

Ethan Gunnett, 36, was killed Friday evening in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Walker, according to the Walker Police Department. The crash happened on Wilson Avenue near the intersection with Richmond Street around 8:20 p.m. on June 20.

First responders rushed to the scene and attempted life-saving measures. Gunnett was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
