A 36-year-old motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle crash in Walker on Friday evening, according to the Walker Police Department.

The crash occurred around 8:20 p.m. on Wilson Avenue near Richmond Street, police said in a release. First responders from the Walker Fire Department and Life EMS arrived at the scene and attempted life-saving measures. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The 36-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene, police said. Police have not identified the victim in the crash. The cause of the crash remains under investigation," according to a Walker Police Department release reported by MLive.
