Beloved Holland Food Trailer Announces Final Season in West Michigan

A beloved food trailer has announced it will be leaving West Michigan after the 2026 season, with ownership relocating to Florida due to health and weather considerations.

Brandon and Becky Kury, who operate Smoke'N Joe's BBQ, took to social media on March 23 to announce that this season will be their last in Holland, Michigan. The couple is moving to a location where the weather is more favorable for their business and the owner's health.

"We have decided to move to a location where the weather is more favorable for our business and my health," Brandon wrote in a social media post. "Ever since my heart surgery, the cold has been absolute torture on my body."

The decision comes after nine years of operating the food trailer in West Michigan, during which time the couple built a strong following among local food enthusiasts.

Catering Schedule for 2026

The food trailer, which specializes in ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, and potato salad, has officially launched for the 2026 season. The business is expected to be stationed in the following locations:

• Tuesdays: Holland at the corner of 32nd Street and Lincoln Avenue
• Fridays: Fennville Family Dollar
• Saturdays: Lyons Farm Market at the corner of M-89 and Blue Star Highway

Brandon added that they will add more days as the weather gets warmer and more events are happening in the area, with hours typically beginning at 11 a.m.

"It has been an amazing nine years operating here," Brandon wrote. "Thank you all for your tremendous support over the years. (We) love you all."

The couple doesn't foresee moving until November, given the busy summer catering schedule in West Michigan.
